Rules: take turns placing a stone on a crossing of the lines. Black goes first. The first player to line up 5 stones, across, up and down, or diagonally, wins. In “Free” games 6 or more in a row also wins; in “Exactly 5” games a row of 6 or more does not count. Black has an advantage, so playing White against a strong computer is a real challenge. Tip: a line of 4 with both ends open cannot be stopped, so block threes early. On a phone, tap once to aim and tap the same spot again to place (you can switch this off in the settings). Keys: Z undo, H hint, N new game.
